USC is home to many iconic outdoor venue spaces including but not limited to Alumni Park, McCarthy Quad, and more!
The reservation request form allows you to place a reservation request for outdoor venues over which Trojan Event Services (TES) has jurisdiction. An Outdoor Production Manager will be in contact with you regarding the status of your reservation request, cost, and paperwork details. TES allows one event to happen at a time in a venue. Events with amplification require approval that is administered through the TES office. Only one event with amplification can happen at a time on campus. Reservation requests must be submitted AT LEAST 6 weeks in advance. This applies to all outdoor locations requested through Trojan Event Services.

Important Information
- Pardee Plaza and Crocker Plaza: Please note that Pardee Plaza and Crocker Plaza will be closed to all events from January 2024 – February 2026. Feel free to check the website periodically for any additional updates.
- Reservations are first-come, first-served. Please be as specific as possible when entering your request details. If you have any questions while filling out this form please contact us via email at odprod@usc.edu or call us at (213) 764-4943.
- Non-university clients are not permitted to reserve outdoor venues during the academic year. During the summer, venue spaces are limited. Please speak with a Production Manager for permitted locations.
- Amplification is allowed Monday – Friday from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Tommy Trojan/Hahn Plaza only. Any request to have amplification outside of those times or a different venue requires approval. The request for amplification must be on the Outdoor Reservation Request form. The approval will be handled through the TES office.
- Large, amplified events are not allowed at the USC Village (Great Lawn, McClintock Lawn and International Piazza) without special approval. No amplified sound is allowed after 8pm.
- The request for electricity must be submitted through a Facilities & Planning Management (FPM) Checklist. TES does not provide electricity for outdoor events.
- Student organizations cannot reserve outdoor spaces during Welcome Experience (Fall & Spring semester), Festival of Books, home football game days, commencement and other large university-wide event.
- If a student organization hosts an event during the summer, the primary contact must be a current USC student and member of the organization on the day of the event.
- **TOMMY TROJAN: Please note that nothing (ie, tables, chairs, tents, etc.) can be placed in front of Tommy Trojan. The use of that space requires your set-up to be to the left or right of Tommy Trojan. NOTHING can be placed in view of the statue. Your approved diagram must comply with this policy. If your set-up violates this policy on the day of your event, you will be asked to adjust your set-up.
- **TOMMY TROJAN: 1- 10’x10′ size tent or pop-up is allowed for reservations at Tommy Trojan/Hahn Plaza. If your set-up exceeds 1-10’x10′ tent/pop-up, the Outdoor Production office can assist you with finding another location such as Trousdale or Alumni Park.
- Food trucks are allowed on Trousdale (near Dr. Medicine Crow Building), McCarthy Quad and Pardee Plaza only. No exceptions.
- The outdoor spaces can not be used for consecutive, multi-day events. Not more than 2 consecutive days.
