Tommy’s Place
Tommy’s Place is USC’s underground concert venue, located in the Ronald Tutor Campus Center. Our venue features concerts, comedy shows, sports screenings, trivia, karaoke, and more! It’s also connected to Traditions, an intimate venue for small events or meetings. Rent Tommy’s Place and Traditions together or use them separately. Contact us to rent Traditions too. Tommy’s Place is all ages and open to the public. ALL shows are FREE!

Cooking is prohibited inside Tommy’s Place & Traditions.

Catering2Go offers drop-off catering from some of USC’s most popular on-campus dining venues: the Amy King Dundon-Berchtold University Club, Panda Express, Seeds Marketplace, and Taco Taco. Both options deliver exceptional quality and offer tax savings for USC schools and departments when paying with ISD or PPGG.
Additional Details
This form will allow you to request Tommy’s Place for a music or theatrical performance. A venue production manager will be in contact with you regarding the status of your reservation request, cost, and paperwork details. Reservation requests must be received at least 5 weeks in advance. Before you submit this form please take a moment to visit the Tommy’s Place website, check venue availability and rental rates/staffing rates. The rental rate and staff pricing may change for the needs of seasonal events. You may also need to fill out the Tommy’s Place Technical Rider if you have a band or multiple bands performing.
Note: The rates are subject to change based on the event details and/or upon submission of a Technical Rider. Trojan Event Services requires a minimum staffing for all band events.
Trojan Event Services requires a minimum of one (1) hour per band for band set-up and includes their sound check.
NOTE: Tommy ‘s Place does not provide water bottles. If you would like them for your talent, please provide it on your own. We encourage using reusable water bottles and filling them at one of our many water fountains or hydration stations on campus. No single use plastic water bottles allowed.

Hours and Free Events
Tommy’s Place is open for events.
Weekly Free Events. Open to all USC Students:
- Open Mic Night and Jam Session every Monday night, 8 pm – 11:30 pm.
- Tommy-Oke (karaoke) every other Thursday night, 8:30 pm – 10:30 pm.
- Band Nights are the last Friday of each month, 8 pm – 11 pm. Open to all USC students. Interested in playing at our Band Night? Please contact the Tommy’s Place Production office at tpprod@usc.edu.
