Traditions
Traditions is a small, intimate event venue space perfect for game nights, stand up comedy shows and small social get togethers. The Traditions stage is 10’ x 20’ and can support up to 3 people at a time. The venue is 2,175 square feet and adjacent to Tommy’s Place.
Use the Tommy’s Place Reservation Request form to request Traditions only or both spaces. A venue production manager will be in contact with you regarding the status of your reservation request, cost, and paperwork details. Reservation requests must be received at least 5 weeks in advance.
Before you submit this form, please take a moment to visit the Tommy’s Place/Traditions website to check venue rental and staffing rates. The rental rate and staff pricing may change for the needs of seasonal events.
Cooking is prohibited inside Tommy’s Place & Traditions.
Reservation requests must be submitted AT LEAST 5 weeks in advance.

Catering2Go offers drop-off catering from some of USC’s most popular on-campus dining venues: the Amy King Dundon-Berchtold University Club, Panda Express, Seeds Marketplace, and Taco Taco. Both options deliver exceptional quality and offer tax savings for USC schools and departments when paying with ISD or PPGG.
Amenities and Equipment
- 120 person capacity performance venue with built in stage
- 200 person capacity for standing room only (no furniture)
- Permanent stage (can not be removed)
- Portable Screen and projector available (additional cost)
- Audio Technicians, Lighting Technicians, and House Managers are provided by Trojan Event Services
- No Green Room
- Tommy’s Place and Traditions do not allow alcohol to be served or consumed unless approved by an alcohol approval form.
- Restrooms immediately outside of the venue
- Water fountain nearby
- Wheelchair accessible. Ramp and handrails extend 9.5″ from the edge of the stage. Permanent and can not be removed.
- Nearby Loading dock
- *Capacity may decrease based on the layout of the room.
- Please note that all furniture in Traditions can not be removed from the room. It can be pushed to the sides of the room but not removed from the room.
