COVID-19 (July 13, 2020)
The University has a new Student Organization Event Approval Process. This was created to allow all student organization events to be thoroughly reviewed by Student Affairs and an Events Committee. This process is for hosting events on campus. Events held virtually are not required to go through this approval process. Virtual events require a completed University Event Permit Application (UEPA).
The new Student Organization Event Approval Process will now require all events to be submitted at least eight (8) weeks in advance. Events for Spring 2021 will be considered 2 months before the event date. You can request to “hold” the event space.
Note: All student organization events that were scheduled for August or September 2020 will be cancelled.

All requests have to be submitted at least eight (8) weeks prior to proposed event date.
A completed online reservation request form through Trojan Event Services (TES) website (trojanevents.usc.edu).
Completion of a University Event Permit Application (UEPA).

Student Affairs reviews your submitted materials. Incomplete documents will not be reviewed.
If pre-approved by Student Affairs, you will schedule a time to present your requested event to the USC Events Committee for final approval at least 5 weeks before the event date.
Upon completion of your event presentation to the USC Events Committee, you will be notified on the status of your requested event. Please note that your event is not confirmed until you have presented to the Events Committee and received written confirmation.
Events submitted less than 8 weeks before the event date will be denied and can be held virtually.

GZ Update: Ground Zero Performance Venue is available to host events 7 days a week. Contact the Ground Zero production office for availability and pricing.
